Bob brings to SXIS a vast amount of experience and expertise which will fit well with his role involved with Business Development. Bob can be contacted on: Expansion of Product Testing, Melbourne Michael Edwards has taken the position of Product Testing / Mechanical Testing Technician in our Werribee Test Facility. Michael is involved with Mechanical Testing together with consumer product testing such as vehicle jacks, vehicle stands, floor cranes, bicycles, ladders, prams, etc.

At SXIS Arndell Park, we have capabilities in mechanical testing, non destructive testing, metallurgy and product testing. We have a complete preparation machine shop to support our mechanical testing and metallurgy sections. In line with the opening of Arndell Park, we have also employed Mr Victor Konstantinoff as Manger of Mechanical Testing and Senior Materials Consultant. Peter Russell has also joined us as the NDT Supervisor. Both Victor and Peter are highly regarded in their particular fields and are excited to join the team at SXIS who have welcomed them onboard. The customer focused philosophy of SXIS and the commitment to our employees is a proven business formula which has helped SXIS to develop into a highly regarded complete testing service and will be enhanced by the Sydney operation.
> 1st August 2007 New Senior NDT Technicians
The Directors of SXIS are happy to announce that they have now employed three very experienced and capable Senior NDT Technicians: Ross Thompson, Daniel Szczepaniak & Peter Makin The combined experience and expertise of all three in ultrasonics, radiography, magnetic particle and liquid penetrant testing is second to none and enhances the core capabilities of SXIS. SXIS has equipped these three new staff members with all new equipment such as Krautkramer UT sets, probes, etc, Sentinel 880 isotope cameras, Magnaflux magnets, etc, new vehicles and notebook computers. Peter, Daniel and Ross have been welcomed by the SXIS team as they now form part of the planned strategic growth of the business for the future.
> 30th January 2007 SXIS Victoria signs affiliation with MIS Western Australia
SXIS is an Independent, privately owned and operated NATA accredited laboratory located in Werribee, Victoria. MIS is also a privately owned and operated NATA accredited laboratory located in Henderson, Western Australia. The alliance will help each company to offer enhanced capabilities and the ability to have representation on each side of the Australian continent. MIS specializes in NDT training and is the Australian representative for The Welding Institute UK, CSWIP, PCN. MIS also carries out ASNT training. Through the alliance, SXIS will act as agents to MIS for all training and accreditation on in the eastern states of Australia. Both companies have various areas of expertise in Mechanical Testing, Non Destructive Testing, Metallurgical Investigations, Real Time Imaging, Product testing and CTOD Testing.
